Search Engine Journal Nominations for Best Blogs
Loren Baker, of Search Engine Journal just announced the 2006 Blog Awards is taking nominations. I don't believe the actual voting is happening now, I think that follows shortly.
There isn't a category for "Best New Blog" but if you'd like to suggest that category - it would be a great idea. A blog like Search Marketing Gurus is pretty new and still working on building its audience, so being recognized in that category would be great for Search Marketing Gurus.
Loren's also got a great LinkBait Category for 2006. If you had fun with HatBait, I'd be honored if you'd nominate it! Here's a few reasons why I think it's a great piece and actually a different kind of "LinkBait" (perhaps "reverse linkbait") than the rest:
- HatBait - Didn't ask for a link - just to take a picture
- HatBait - Was fun with silly hats or your own hat
- HatBait - Actually is giving participants a chance to win a prize
- HatBait - Lets the audience vote for the winner
- HatBait - Has GIVEN MORE LINKS than it's received (which is a great thing) :)
- HatBait - Actually introduces readers to many blogs & websites
- HatBait - Was totally about having fun and meeting people!
So If you like the blog, and / or you thought HatBait was fun, please give us a nomination at Search Engine Journal!
