Pork, The Other White Meat - Scratch That - The Big Bully!

If you read Week 6's edition of Women of Internet Marketing, you met Jennifer Laycock and discovered that she runs this blog/community called "The Lactivist".  The community supports breastfeeding mothers and actually sells some t-shirts who's entire profit goes towards a Milk Bank in Ohio - which is a charity.

These t-shirts have a bunch of silly slogans, however, one has caught the ire of the National Pork Board.  Their hired henchwoman has shot off a letter telling Jenn that they must cease with the sale of a particular shirt, because they feel it violates their trademark.  Now I know you are all scratching your heads saying "HUH?!"

BreastFeeding ..... Pork, ok where's the connection?

Apparently they are trying to connect the dots with one t-shirt's slogan "The Other White Milk".  I'm not going to rehash everything that both Jenn explains (Back Off National Pork Board) and what Danny has written up, other than to say:

"Ms. Jennifer Daniel Collins, are you off your rocker? Or are you just an over zealous lawyer trying to justify your practice's huge fees to the National Pork Board by picking on breastfeeding women who donate money to charity?"
