Using Blogger? Check Your Template's Meta Tags!
If you are a blogger and you're using Blogger as your platform, you might want to check your templates meta tags. It seems that in the recent months since upgrading, the templates had a mostly unwelcome edition which wasn't exactly widely known - the noindex/nofollow was added.
Manoj Jasra of Web Analytics World is on the Blogger platform and about mid-February when Google was in the middle of an update, Manoj noticed his search referral traffic was on a steep decline. He wrote a post and through the comments from his audience discovered the template edition. He's been kind enough to share how the recovery is going. Take a look at his results, you can see the deep decline and now the recovery.
If you are experiencing the same thing, and are scratching your head as to why, check your template's meta tags , that could be the culprit to your issues!

That's why it's always handy to have those firefox plugins that show you the no-follow links. The day I saw my blog turn pink was the day I edited the default meta tags :)
