Announcement - Just in Time for the Holiday!
So as I was so gently reminded by one of our audience members, I mentioned an announcement would come soon. Well I was going to post it last Friday, but I wanted to wait a full week to make sure it was "O.K." to announce this.
You all know that my day job is for Commerce360. It's a great start up firm on the outskirts of Philly that specializes in search marketing, online strategy and analytics. We've been actively recruiting people to come to our company.
Well I've manage to snag one of those "big fish" and real him on into Commerce360. You'll love that reference especially when you realize who's come to join us at Comemrce360. This man is amazingly talented and knows a heck of a lot about why the search engines do what they do.
OK so I've teased enough .... *drum rolls*....
Bill Slawski, of SEO By The Sea, joined Commerce360 this week.
If I'm lucky, I might even persuade him to make a post here every now
and then! Bill joins Commerce360's search team with Greg Meyers,
myself and our other talented paid search manager Matt LeVeque. Bill
will still be keeping up his SEO By The Sea blog as well as admin
responsibilities on the forums, I just convinced him and Commerce360
this was a great fit all around.
We're really excited about a great team we've got at Commerce360. With Greg and Alex now contributing to SMG, you can see just how well we all work together too. It's a great place to work because of the fun things we're doing with clients and plans for the future, and I'm really glad that Bill's here to make the future even better!
There's an added benefit to SMG, too. Bill coming on to the C360 team, means eventually I've got more free time on my hands, since my day job has been increasingly creeping into my free to to blog/write at home. With Bill there to help me out, both C360 and SMG gain a heck of a lot.

I couldn't figure out why nobody had nabbed Bill earlier. He's brilliant. Commerce 360 was smart as heck to do what it takes to bring him on board.
