7 New Languages - Flickr Takes Social Photo Sharing International

Flickblog_logo_2 Pete Cashmore over at Mashable has got the scoop, Flickr's reaching beyond the English language and adding support for 7 new languages:  Korean, Italian, German,  Portuguese, Spanish, traditional Chinese and French.  A Japanese version is rumored to be forthcoming.

Although I'm not educated in the French language, Flickr's got a post on it's blog, in which they promoted Flickr's use in France.  They held a "24 Hours of Flickr" back on May 5th.  Apparently it was a success since they are celebrating with a some sort of show (Bablefish doesn't do that good of a translation!) held on June 14, 2007
